Elon Musk’s son steals the show at Oval Office as Trump and Musk discuss government efficiency

Elon Musk’s four-year-old son, X Æ A-12, stole the spotlight during a high-profile Oval Office meeting on Tuesday.

The meeting, attended by President Donald Trump and the Tesla CEO, took an unexpected turn as the child became the center of attention.

While the billionaire duo discussed government efficiency, little X entertained journalists by making faces, clinging to his father, and even playfully poking Musk’s cheek.

The meeting, which lasted over 30 minutes, saw Musk and Trump discussing a newly signed executive order aimed at streamlining the federal workforce. The order reportedly mandates that agencies hire no more than one employee for every four departures in an effort to cut government spending. However, much of the attention shifted to Musk’s son, who stood by his father’s side wearing a camel jacket, polo sweater, and a thick gold chain.

X, Musk’s child with singer Grimes, was seen sitting on the floor, nuzzling into his father’s hair, and engaging with the press in a lighthearted manner. At one point, Musk joked that the Department of Government Efficiency was undergoing a “daily proctology exam” due to scrutiny, while Trump dismissed concerns over the executive order’s impact, stating, “We don’t want an unsuccessful guy doing this.”

The meeting marked another public political appearance for Musk and his son, who were also seen at Trump’s Election Night celebration at Mar-a-Lago last month. As the discussion wrapped up, Musk scoffed at criticism over the cuts, responding with sarcasm, “I have detractors? I don’t believe it.”
