Is Kanye West’s career finally over?

Kanye West’s career continues to spiral as he faces widespread backlash over antisemitic remarks, Nazi references, and offensive business decisions.

The rapper, also known as Ye, has been dropped by Shopify, his talent agency, and faces a lawsuit from a former Yeezy employee.

E-commerce giant Shopify removed West’s online store after he attempted to sell a t-shirt featuring a swastika. The decision followed a Super Bowl ad directing users to Yeezy.com, where the controversial merchandise was listed. A Shopify spokesperson stated, “This merchant did not engage in authentic commerce practices and violated our terms.”

Meanwhile, talent agency 33&West severed ties with West due to his inflammatory statements. His music agent, Daniel McCartney, announced the decision on Instagram, saying the agency does not support his “harmful and hateful remarks.”

Additionally, West was sued by a former Yeezy marketer, who accused him of workplace harassment, antisemitic remarks, and discrimination. The lawsuit alleges that West referred to himself as a Nazi, sent offensive messages, and subjected employees to verbal abuse. The plaintiff claims she was fired shortly after reporting his behavior.

This controversy is reminiscent of 2022 when Adidas, Balenciaga, and Gap dropped West over similar remarks, costing him his billionaire status. With mounting legal issues, severed partnerships, and industry rejection, many wonder if this marks the end of Kanye West’s career.
