Tickets for the group match between Pakistan and India in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to take place in Dubai, were sold out in less than an hour after being made avaialble to the public.
The match, which is expected to be one of the biggest encounters in cricket, will feature arch-rivals, Pakistan and India.
The race to book tickets for the match was intense, with fans from both countries rushing online to secure their seats. The cheapest ticket for the match was priced at 500 AED, while the most expensive pass was sold for 12,500 AED.
Ticket sales began at 4 PM on Monday afternoon, and as soon as they went live, traffic flooded the website. Within just four minutes of the sale opening, a long queue formed as nearly 140,000 fans tried to book their tickets online.
In less than an hour, all tickets for the February 23rd match between Pakistan and India at the Dubai stadium were sold out. Along with the 500 AED and 12,500 AED tickets, there were also tickets available for 1,000, 1,200, 2,500, and 5,000 AED.
